Polis – La città degli Scout

Scout di tutto il mondo per 48 ore si parleranno via radio, chatteranno e discuteranno insieme, il 16 e 17 ottobre, nell’annuale appuntamento dello Jota (Jamboree on the air) e dello Joti (Jamboree on the Internet). Già, ma di che cosa si parla? Be, di diritti, ad esempio, come propone Wosm nel lanciare l’iniziativa, che quest’anno è in partnership con Unicef.

Italian Earthquake

Dear Barbara

Like many people around Europe, we received the news of the earthquake which happened last night on the morning news. We are sure that those personally affected have spent a dreadful time, particularly those who have suffered the loss of friends and family or have been subject to injury.

In western Europe we tend to forget the immeasurable forces of nature but in circumstances such as these we stand in solidarity with the Italian nation and the Scouting community in particular. If there is anything that the Region can do we hope that you will advise us. We know that Scouting will be involved at many levels and we stand beside you in whatever these endeavours will entail.

In the meantime, Italian Scouting is in the thoughts of the Region, not least from the European Committee and the regional staff.

With sincere condolences and our strong feelings of solidarity.

I grandi cambiamenti partono sempre da piccoli gesti quotidiani.
Gli scout ci credono.

UNA CAMPAGNA PER IL RISPETTO AMBIENTALE E UN PROGETTO INTERNAZIONALE DEL MOVIMENTO SCOUT IN COLLABORAZIONE CON L’ALCOA FOUNDATION, REALIZZATI DAI PIU’ GIOVANI

Il CNGEI ha aderito alla campagna M’ILLUMINO DI MENO promossa dalla trasmissione radiofonica CATERPILLAR di Radio 2. L’associazione scout laica italiana  ha quindi deciso di supportare tale adesione con il lancio della fase finale di “Nemmeno una goccia”.

l Roverway è un evento europeo organizzato  Wosm e Wagggs (Organizzazioni mondiali dello scautismo e del guidismo)  rivolto a rover e scolte per offrire l’occasione di incontrarsi e condividere opinioni, culture e tradizioni. Ripercorrendo la strada tracciata nel 2003 e nel 2006 dalle precedenti edizioni svoltesi in Portogallo e in Italia, nel 2009 il Roverway sarà organizzato dagli scout islandesi (Bandalag islenskra skata).

I partecipanti saranno accolti il 19 luglio a Reykjavik; la cerimonia di apertura si svolgerà la mattina successiva. Seguiranno quattro giorni di attività nei sottocampi sparsi in tutta l’Islanda e, infine, la conclusione con un campo fisso tra il 24 e il 28 luglio presso lo Ulfljotsvatn Scout Center nella regione sudoccidentale dell’Islanda, a circa un’ora e mezzo di auto da Reykjavjk.
