The theme for Thinking Day 2012 is linked to environmental sustainability and is inspired by one of the eight "Objectives of the Millennium ", among which we identify Scouts and Guides, each year, the theme of our Thinking Day, which in all countries is celebrated through initiatives that allow the collection of "Penny", a sign of solidarity for the development of Guiding in the world . For 2012, WAGGGS has coined the slogan "Let's save our planet ! "based on the 7 th goal of the Millennium ("Ensure environmental sustainability").

The Roverway is a European event organized within the WOSM and WAGGGS to give an opportunity for boys and girls aged between 16 and 22 years of sharing different opinions, cultures and traditions. Retracing the footsteps and evolving in previous editions (Portugal 2003, Italy 2006, Iceland 2009), in 2012 will be organized by the Roverway ' Association Scouts of Finland (Suomen Partiolaiset).
