Subject: Emergency Earthquake in Italy
Dear friends,
The catastrophe that hit the ' Abruzzo and Italy in recent days and that has caused countless deaths and physical and moral damage to the populations living in areas affected by the earthquake affects us as members of the same Association World brothers and Guides and Scouts.
The Europe Region WAGGGS expresses his sorrow for the many victims, its proximity and active solidarity with the people tragically affected by the Abruzzo earthquake.
We are aware of the rapid response teams of volunteers AGESCI and CNGEI that since yesterday are in place and are supporting assistance to affected populations, and we know how the Guides and the Scout Italians are always at the forefront of such emergencies.
Here we want to renew our support and offer assistance in the case where the anny useful, we would be happy to use the communication channels available to us to raise awareness and mobilize the solidarity of the European member organizations of WAGGGS.
Sincerely,
Fabiola Canavesi
President
European Committee WAGGGS
