Education in the truth - AGESCI
With passion for education, as the Covenant of Association, the ' AGESCI not give up her role as a sentinel on issues of public character. Therefore, we reiterate the importance of putting in place good practices to ensure the best possible use of information, ensuring respect for people and their right to freedom of thought and criticism, even through the service of a free press and independent, as that , associations, movements, the third sector generally try to offer.
EDUCATION IN TRUTH '
A context free and true is assumed to play a decisive role in determining educational. The absence of freedom and truth affect the construction of a just and equitable society. Any attempt to undermine the existence of the desired social context, calls for reflection and action by citizens.
The Agesci is engaged in assisting the growth and formation of free people. To achieve this goal, we hope it is essential to operate in a context of truth. In education, the truth is like air to breathe! All are entitled to freely express their thoughts in speech, writing and other means of dissemination, as well as constitutionally provided. The information and media, today more than ever, influence and guide the consciences, but they are an irreplaceable tool for the formation of consciences same.
Their plurality and freedom are key factors to contribute to the formulation of a personal and free thought. The legislation in force (1) and the one being approved by Parliament - aims to regulate the communication in our country - is likely to pave the way to humiliate the legislative freedom of press and information.
