I asked God ...
to be strong to make grandiose plans:
He made me weak to keep myself humble.
I asked God to give me health
to create large companies:
He gave me pain to understand it better.
I asked him to possess all the wealth:
made me poor for not being selfish.
I asked him the power
so that men might need me:
He gave me the humiliation
because I needed them.
I asked God for all to enjoy life:
I left the life
for me to appreciate everything.
Lord , I have not received anything of that
I asked,
but you gave me everything I needed
and almost against my will.
The prayers were answered that I did.
Be praised, my Lord,
among all men
nobody has what I have!
