Center John Paul II in Loreto
On June 4, JPII visited the center, making stage, the 32 leaders from all Agesci 8 leaders Italy together with part of the field staff training Agesci that is taking place these days in Matelica. They left this morning from Matelica directed to the Basilica of Loreto, all together on the journey with Jesus through Mary to complain their "YES"! We thank you for choosing the Center as one of the stages of the journey that leads them into the house of yes.
Presentation of the Centre and Purpose
The John Paul II Center is located in the shadow of the Shrine of the International Holy House of Loreto as a meeting point and comparison to discover and live. This center is first of all HOME, a "home" in which to live a life experience and service, and our proposal is to walk with you, moving a few steps to the discovery of God as sentinels of the third millennium! The activity is aimed at individuals and groups of young people aged 16 to 35 years. Any other situation is verified by the community center. It lasts a whole day and can be repeated with meetings distributed throughout the year, according to a project that we will agree together. Provides thematic moments, personal reflection, and dialogue with one member of the Centre.
A home of Marian spirituality
You can participate alone or with your group of friends to the ordinary life of the Centre, its liturgy , its moments of prayer , in his time of work and leisure. We will try to revive the simple style of the Holy House and the extraordinary experience of the Gospel of ordinary days spent together.
An oasis of silence, withdrawal and prayer
The experience includes time for silence, meditation and participation in the ordinary life of the Centre, with the possibility of personal interviews. The program will be defined together.
A place of growth and occurs for boyfriends
The meeting is open to young married couples, engaged couples in their choice already mature and young taking their first steps into married life. Time stronger the pilgrimage to the Holy House, where tradition says he lived Mary, betrothed to Joseph.
A laboratory host youth and volunteer
This is a permanent part of the team in which animation to help young people in their pilgrimage. Accompany the youth groups at the Sanctuary, animating a listening service and participating in activities and art workshops and cultural program. The initiative was launched in May 2001 and immediately aroused great enthusiasm, it joined not only by young Italians but also many young Europeans (France, Spain, Poland, Slovakia).
