Subject: Emergency earthquake in Italy
Dear friends,
The catastrophe that hit the ' Abruzzo and Italy in recent days and that has caused countless deaths and damage to physical and moral people living in areas affected by the earthquake affects us as members of the same World Association Guides and Scouts and siblings.
The Europe Region WAGGGS expresses his sorrow for the many victims, its proximity and active solidarity with the people tragically affected by the earthquake in Abruzzo.
We are aware of the immediate response teams of volunteers AGESCI and CNGEI yesterday are already in place and are supporting assistance to affected populations, and we know what the Guides and Scouts Italians are always at the forefront in such emergency situations.
Here we would renew our solidarity and offer our support, if you consider it useful, we would be happy to use the communication channels available to us to raise awareness and mobilize the solidarity of the European members of WAGGGS organizations.
