The symbolic frame chosen by the Icelandic scouts to recover aspects of opening the heart and mind, the challenge with 'the same, the next adventure, the environment and creativity', summarized in the motto OPEN UP, concerns' Althingi, the board of the inhabitants of Iceland, from the beginning of colonization (X century), was held once a year during the summer and lasted for about a couple of months. At this meeting each tribe 'brought its contribution by creating a real market exchange and knowledge beyond the resolution of any difficulties.' To participate in this meeting, the tribes' moved from their villages to reach the place of the assembly facing an adventurous and challenging (JOURNEY).

The type of proposed participation by ' AGESCI for Roverway 2009 and 'different from that of previous Roverway. If your previous experience and 'appreciation and acceptance was the instrument of the community', on this occasion and 'thus underlining the important experience of the individual participation as a mode' of life events that, in the process of growth of R / S, can insert PLANNING '. The type of event is from the path of personal progression and this' makes it particularly suitable for rovers and scouts not too close to departure. Moreover, the experience of inclusion in a clan of training makes the event more 'suitable for rovers and scouts already' included in the Scout 2008/2009 in the life of a clan, rather than for novices. Moreover, in order to involve the whole community 'R / S of the participants in the path towards the event are some suggested activities' for the clan.
The learning community that will be forming in Iceland are linked to other Italian experiences thus experienced as EPPPI, with particular attention to the international dimension. The 2 leaders, men and women of the community 'training (Team Leader) will be indicated by branches of R / S region.
The total share of participation of the Rover, and Team Leader at Scolte Roverway and 'of 1,350 euros and includes registration, logistics costs (travel, meals, shipping materials, etc..), Organizational (secretary, any preparatory meetings, etc.. ) and contingent (gadgets, international night, House Italy, etc..). There are no fees from associative structures, although of course it 'desirable that at least the clan and the group of belonging also contributes to supporting financially the participation of individuals and Scolte Rover. Despite the very tight time available we will try 'to walk the streets of collaboration / sponsorship aimed at reducing costs and, consequently, the shares. The final part (but not exceeding 1,350 euros) will be 'defined no later than February 2009.
The Rover and Scolte are applying individually using the registration card online (available www.roverway.it from 7 October to 15 December 2008) with data and expectations not unlike those for participation in regional and national EPPPI and where and 'will also be a part of the presentation to be filled to the chieftains.
As for the IST (International Service Team) AGESCI (chiefs from 23 years of age), whose presence in 2009 and Roverway 'provided by the opening ceremony until July 30, and' was determined to be at most 20.
