Scouting Italian faces on youth policies

Over the weekend 27 to 28 September 2008 at the base Scouts of Bracciano ( Rome ), took place the long-awaited first national seminar organized by the Italian Federation of Scouting with the theme "Scouting and Italian youth policy ".
The youth leaders and educators of adults CNGEI and of ' Agesci gathered to discuss and debate the role that Scouting and Guiding can play effectively in the field of youth policy at national, regional and local level as to where the potential of our movement can really be used to positively influence the formation of policies that encourage young people series.
The seminar aimed to provide participants with new knowledge and tools. In this sense the work of the Sabbath were an opportunity to hear the experiences very relevant and different from each other. First, Midge Commbs, a member of the European Committee of WAGGGS and representatives of the external relations of WOSM, have illustrated how in Europe the two world organizations are able to interact together within the major European institutions and especially within the European Forum Youth.

A visit was very significant that the Hon. Giorgia Meloni, Minister of Youth, which has intervened illustrating some of the projects of his department, and called for greater efforts by all the Italian youth, and especially from the scout associations that are measured daily with the difficulties of the day.
The experience of the National Youth Forum membership was made through the intervention of Cristian Carrara, the Speaker of the FNG and representatives of some associations with which the Scouts are working closely together, demonstrating how young people to hear their voices should definitely be able to network among themselves, to break down the barriers that still impede their full access to Italy in a leading role in our society.

The day of the Sabbath was ended by a witness of great depth and importance, that of public prosecutor, Giancarlo Caselli, for years engaged in the fight against the Mafia. Dr. Caselli has captured the attention of the audience on the theme of active citizenship and personal commitment that every Italian citizen needs to make every day to truly create a society that is open and allows the generational and cultural, that young people need to loudly.
On Sunday morning, participants were asked to discuss how the two associations can act locally to development of youth policy, starting with an analysis of possible actions both inside and outside the two associations to promote the formation of forums at regional and local Scouting and Guiding in which shall be among the key players and more active.

Any Scout Association has the tools to pull off a good program for kids propylene, (Educational Project) the point is they are not used on the same folding activities of years past.
