The last letter of Baden Powell
Dear Scouts,
if you saw the play Peter Pan you will remember that the leader of the pirates at every opportunity to repeat his last speech, for fear of not having time to do so when it came time for him to die for real. Press'a happens just the same to me, and although it is not even on his death bed that time will come one day, so I want to send a final farewell, before we separate for good.
Remember that the last words that I udrete: reflect.
I spent a happy life and I want each of you has a life just as happy. I believe the Lord has put us in this wonderful world to be happy and enjoy life. The happiness does not depend on wealth or success in the career, nor by giving in to our cravings.
One step towards happiness you conquering the health and strength until you guys, to be useful and enjoy life fully once made men. The study of nature will show you how beautiful and wonderful things God has filled the world for your happiness. Contentatevi of what you have and try to draw all the profit that you can. Look at the beautiful side of things, not the ugly side.
But the real way to be happy is to bring happiness to others. Caused to leave this world a little better than you found, and when play time of your death, you can die happy in the consciousness that you have not wasted your time, but has "done your best." "Be prepared" as well, to live happy and to die happy: Keep your promise to Explorers, even when there are more boys, and God help you in this.

Thanks BP, because with six Scout movement succeeded in creating an association where ideals of brotherhood and friendship have become reality. Thank you for your lessons with the young people as something good in yourself! For the Scouts from all over the world you like a father who has done the impossible to help their children to grow up good and righteous. Your teachings are always present and for me are the lessons of life! Thanks indeed!
