National Seminar in Bracciano
The Scout Association AGESCI and CNGEI - united in the Italian Federation of Scouting - FIS - have for years been actively engaged in the development of youth policies in the country, in order to widen the net of representative democracy and to offer students the tools to exercise their citizenship active.
For this reason, the Italian Federation of Scouting to offer, through the project " politichegiovanili@scouteguide.it "an opportunity to all the Guides and Scouts to develop their own skills, asking them to be ambassadors not only of the values, ideals and principles of Scouting, but also the protagonists of the decisions that affect them personally. After contributing to the birth of the National Youth Forum ( www.forumnazionalegiovani.it ), an opportunity that has enabled us to strengthen our commitment to youth policies, we are now forming our children to enable them to network with associations present and active in the area.
For this purpose it was organized the National Seminar on "Italian Scouting and youth policy", to be held in Bracciano (RM) 26 to 28 September 2008, where together we will have occasion to analyze and compare the different national realities, to stimulate youth participation and its leading role, to develop a plan of action and involvement in national and local platforms by providing useful tools for our children.
