Once the World Conference of the World Association of Guides and explorers
Ended, Friday July 11, a Johanesburg in South Africa, the World Conference of the World Association of Guides and explorers (WAGGGS). The Italian delegation was composed of Chiara Sapigni, Barbara Calvi, Paola Stroppiana, Doriano Warriors, Lucia Magnavacca, Anna Risso, Noemi Ruzza, Monia Marcacci. The world meeting provided by the constitution to bring together representatives of member associations every three years, brought together nearly 500 participants from 140 countries.
In the context of formal meetings and working groups discussed the strategic plan for the next three years by defining priorities and future on the line of the theme "Join in, reach out, change lives" (Uniamoci, leave, change our lives). At was also presented the logo and plans to celebrate the centenary of the Scout Movement women.
Were elected six new members of the world, along with two "reservations", the Presidents of the regions and six members in mid-mandate, the committee will hold office until the next World Conference to be held in Edinburgh in the UK.
