Defending the forest is also your responsibility!

Legambiente and Department of Civil Protection , under the auspices of the State Forestry Department in collaboration with the Scouts of ' Agesci and CNGEI , the ' Associazione Nazionale Alpini, the Arcicaccia, the Center for Sports and Activities' environment , Coldiretti the National Association of Fire Dismissal, the Marche Region and the Region of Sicily, is again organizing the fourth edition of "do not joke with fire" the great national campaign monitoring, prevention and information on forest fires.
With the arrival of summer comes back the fear that the important forests, which contributes to our unique beautiful country, go up in flames. The disastrous events of last summer in which over 10 000 fires have destroyed 225 000 hectares of forest , show that the phenomenon of forest fires is a real national emergency. Each year the forest areas of our country will be dwindling rapidly: the deficit in this budget we are paying all the assets, if any, benefited only those who have acted with a clear strategy linked to the pursuit of profit.

Given the gravity and importance of the phenomenon that affects us all up close, let's go back to arrange for the sixth consecutive year not joke with fire, with additional key partnerships that help us to defend the forests from the scourge of fire. In over 500 locations in the woods, and most affected by the fires, all equipped with gloves and rubbish bags, we can clean up abandoned waste woods and discover the incredible beauty that includes our precious forests. The protection of the forest is the duty of all ..... do not joke with fire!

Given that forest fires are a real national shame, I would say that all scouting (Agesci, Masci, CNGEI, ESF, etc..) Must mobilize not only for prevention but also to lend a hand when (for a change!) Will arrive usual fire.
One thing you could do is support to families in areas planted minding the kids while the adults are busy to put out the fire.
What do you say?

Hmm, it could be a good idea ... But I remain convinced, however, that a video would motivate people to think again ... and those who are convinced that the Scouts are only "a group of children from vestitio idiots led by an idiot dressed child "!! We also use our media!! What do you think?
PS And then he cites BP's commitment scout fires in "Scouting for Boys" ...

There is no law that requires owners to clean up the forest land under forest fund at least once a year. The woods are cleaned only when you need the wood! It 'a shame ...
