Italian Federation of the Scout Movement (FEDERSCOUT)

FEDERSCOUT
Federation of Motion Scout Italian
The FederScout, Italian Federation of the Scout Movement (the name adopted in 2006 in place of Scautistica Italian Federation) is a federation meets in Italy Scout Associations regional or local. At the international level since January 27, 2008 adheres to the World Federation of Independent Scouts ( WFIS ).
Story
The FederScout was born in 1986 by some independent Italian association scout. The founding organizations were: the Association of Young Explorers Sardis (AGES) in Sardinia, the Scouts and Guides Association of Europe (ASGE) and the Nautical Center Scout (CNS) of Lazio and the Friends of Scout Initiatives (AMIS) in Trieste . Also in 1986 he was created a school for training leaders at the federal level. From 1987 to January 2008 FederScout joined the Confédération Européenne de Scouting (CES). At the end of January 2008, to expand opportunities for international meetings of its members and strengthen a fundamental aspect of the Scout method, which is International Friendship, the FederScout has joined the World Federation of Independent Scouts (WFIS). Currently FederScout, open to all Scouts actually, counts 16 associations operating in various regions of Italy.
Methodological Characteristics
A peculiar characteristic of his nature FederScout is truly federal. In fact, in some way anticipated the request of the Company's current decentralization as the administrative and organizational point of view of the Federated Associations are completely independent, then the best response to local needs, leaving, however, its representative to the Federation of National and International , Formation and organization of the Heads of all that is of common interest such as, for example, national meetings and activities for kids of all ages such as: Dating Castorini, National Board for Cubs , Scouts Camps for National / Scouts / Guides, etc. Rover Moot., or participation in events such as International Eurojam, Indaba, Twinning with groups from other countries etc.. etc. ..
The experience FederScout can be considered a laboratory. In fact, the practice of associations working together jointly for years, amid difficulties and differences, mutual respect and deeper overcoming resistance selfishness and paying close attention to the different approaches and traditions, is a concrete example of collaboration between organizations and verifiable independent to each other but united by common purpose and confidence to spread the contents of a large global movement. This enabled the FederScout today to find the balance that makes it grow and look to the future with greater safety and awareness.
School Heads
FederScout for the training of heads of units is essential and is a priority. For this purpose we organized an annual training for all branches of Castorini to the Rover Group Leaders and Managers as well as for Associative. The system used in training is to Gilwell. Who ends the whole process gets the Wood Badge training. The responsibility for training is delegated to a committee coordinated by a National Leader Trainer (LT).
National and international activities
The National Technical Committee is a collegial body responsible for the organization of Federal Activities for all the branches. Sequence activities are usually organized every year for the Rover (Rover Moot and National Route), for the Rangers (National Camp, Technical Specialty courses, courses for Heads Patrol / Patrol / Crew, etc..) For the Cubs (Board and Crag National), for Castorini (Holidays in Cologne) and Heads (Indaba). To strengthen international friendship and peace education are also promoted numerous opportunities to meet with other scouts actually abroad Eurojam every 4 years, Fires of Pentecost (similar to the Campo di San Giorgio) every year in a different European country, Fields International Meetings of Heads, partnerships with groups in Europe, etc..

Sticking to Federscout, the Independent Group Scout "Vicenza" was born July 2, 2004 from the desire to lay scout with 50 years of experience and is building in the complex and lively town actually scout, very proruttiva in favor of all local and national scout. We believe in pluralism and experimentation as conceived by BP which, for a chief who objected to the impossibility of a project (!) Because that is inconsistent with the regulations said, "damn the rules, call it an experiment!" ( "to hell with the regulations, call it an experiment"). Faithful to the original message of BP we provide our home-scout camp for all scouts that want utilizzare.Scriveteci or contact us. Visit our website. A handshake and a good way.
