Don George Basadonna returned to the house of the Father
On May 9 afternoon, Don George Basadonna has finished his "road" on this earth. Many of you will know through the wonderful pages of his book on "Spirituality of the road." Priest of the Diocese of Milan since 1945, scout since 1942, has always been dedicated to educating young people through teaching (in the first seminar , then in the State and Catholic schools, and at the Catholic University ISEF) and the activity scout .
Assistant in Milan in the '50s, in 1966 he was appointed Assistant General CIGC, the International Catholic Conference of Guiding. From 1967 to 1974 he was Assistant National dell'AGI. In May 1974 (and until 1976) is the first assistant of the National ' Agesci .
Don George Basadonna, a humble servant of God from the words big, beautiful, meaningful, and hearts that have marked people for their simplicity and depth, passed away Friday, May 9. He always preached the silence to listen attentively to God, as the place of the road with him, contemplation as a means to meditate on the divine Christian message.

I am one of those brothers who have taken cues to prepare the activities of tribes and especially the program for a mobile field back in the 80's.
I thank Don George's elder brother, giving him the last track, that the good God's perpetual light shine in the face.

I greet the dear friend Don Giorgio, and I thank him because through him I became a MAN. He gave me the tools and taught me the art of knowing how to live in GIOIGA who is in and APPRPEZZARE SEIZE THE WONDERS OF LIFE THAT GOD HAS DONATED.
THANK YOU, Don Giorgio, and now goes "far beyond the horizons towards" ever closer to the house of God that will welcome you with open arms as you have been able to accommodate us all.

Great pain and emptiness: because Don George was a person of deep humility and simplicity, was a gift to meet him, hear his words through his books a constant source of attraction and spiritual depth, indicating the path to Infinity!

I never met George but don "Spirituality of the Road" was a book bearer of a message as a rover at the time I fully recognized and that in later years I raised to my clan. Don George, like many other noble figures of priests, scout, is and will remain one of the most beautiful figures of reference to which I hope many children will rebuild. Good road Gorg!

I met Don George on Tissi (Sassari province) in 1990 during an assembly area in which he came to talk of an encyclical of John Paul II. He said that some poor health would not have stopped. Now I hope that from heaven, not to stop and face "Assistant" in the route organized by Our Lord and BP along the streets of heaven. Group leader Paul Sorso 1
