Creation of the Community Masci Trapani 1
It 'just go as hoped. The Centenary of Scouting has been, during the past year, the common denominator of many activities has brought good! I remember that the Committee had the intention Zone AGESCI to involve not only the Scouts of today but also "those of yesterday." So we organized a rally (it was March 4 last year) that established the intention not to be able to stop, somehow, create a new reality.
The Masci was, of course, the solution most 'suitable. Contacted the leaders of the Sicilian movement, immediately we felt encouraged and supported. Nuccio Constantine was immediately mobilized. He came to us directly to Trapani. So April 20, 2008 became a date that can not be forgotten and will remain an indelible memory for those who, scouting, has made a lifestyle.
In the beautiful lawn of the Fund Auteri - based scouts to 10 Km from Trapani - the presence of over one hundred Scouts, the activities were open with the classic dell'alza flag ceremony. Carmel Casano (regional secretary), Nuccio Constantine (National Council), Salvatore Figuccio (neo magister Trapani) and Bishop of our Diocese Bishop Francis Miccicchè gave the signal to hoist the flags. In communities Masci square of Palermo, Messina, Gravina di Catania, Cefalu ', Porto Empedocles, Termini Imerese and Mazara del Vallo.
The air of celebration had already started and the time when most 'solemn was coming: the signing of the Constitution. Not a cold deed, but a document that expresses the relationship with our memory, with the present and the future. Result of reflection, sharing and hope! Weighted word one by one!

The community was named for Carmelo Rallo. A brother of the first scouts marked the trail of Scouting Trapanese and very touching was the memory that his brother Nino gave us all. Last but not least our bishop who wanted to emphasize with pride, while celebrating the Eucharist, that a new element was added to the Church Trapani. Well! The scarf Masci if it is truly deserved!
At lunch time a varied parade of baked pasta, sausage and a powerful series of songs interspersed with various sweets, strictly Sicilian. Then everyone in the car for the return .... with many friends in more '!
