The Cubs Castano and Turbigo in Hunting
Sunday 10/02 bunch of us and Uhuru Red Flower found ourselves in front of the church of San Zeno in Castano Primo and, around 10.00, we participated in the St. Mass.
After Mass, we walked to Our Lady of Gree and there we found a man of civil protection (disguised as a head of course!) who told us that there had crashed a plane around and asked us if we could help him find survivors ; But first we had to train, and then we did two rounds of "Bulldog" a game similar to hawk just to make people had to be lifted from the ground.
After training the leaders have shown us how:
- Wrap one leg.
- Wrap one arm.
- Building a stretcher.
- Putting the patient in a lateral position and an anti-shock.
After showing us all the operations necessary to treat a patient ate (otherwise how could we treat people on an empty stomach?!?). After lunch, the leaders gave us free time and after a while 'they called us to start a game. They brought us the CDA in separate places in the woods (we were the survivors), the other cubs were instead divided into three teams and we had to try not to be found from the old wolves, because if an old Wolf touched one of the team was the component in prison, and to rescue the team had to bargain with the old wolf that kept prisoners or money or "medicine" that we had provided to make the exchange, the aim was to liberate all the sick (the CDA) while keeping the whole team united.
Eventually won the team who, having recovered all survivors had more money and more medicine of all. After the game, our sister Gabriella, who still had the white handkerchief, made the promise. Then we divided into several small groups to talk with the leaders of the specialty and, once concluded, we made the final prayer, we broke the circle and went home.
